Back for 2025: Timbers Eats & Treats
If you’ve never tried our campground-owned food truck, let 2025 be your moment! Timbers Eats & Treats will be back on weekends, serving up slow-smoked meats, mouthwatering sides, and kid-friendly snacks that campers love. It’s a true local favorite—and a great reason not to cook after a long day of fun.
New menu additions will roll out this summer, so stay tuned for that smokin’ good news.
Mark Your Calendar: Water Weekend + Hillsdale County Fair
We’ve got tons of fun weekends planned, but Water Weekend in August always makes waves! Expect splashes, laughs, and maybe even a surprise or two.
And don’t forget, the Hillsdale County Fair is a must-visit in the fall. Gateway Park makes the perfect home base for your fair fun—just bring your appetite and comfy shoes.
Campfire Snack of the Month: Mini S’mores Dippers
Ingredients:
- Graham cracker pieces
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate chips or chunks
- Small foil baking cups
How-To:
- Fill foil cups with a few marshmallows and some chocolate chips.
- Set them near the edge of the fire to melt (or wrap in foil and place on grill grates).
- Once melted and gooey, dip in graham crackers for a finger-friendly twist on the classic s’more.
These little dippers are great for tiny hands (and grown-ups who like bite-sized treats).
